The service
Agent Update lets software you control send you messages, and lets you reply from an iPhone app. You sign in with Apple. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Your tokens are yours to guard
Each agent gets an access token beginning with au_live_. Anything holding that token can send you messages as that agent. Treat it like a password: do not commit it, do not paste it into a shared channel, and rotate it in the app the moment you suspect it has leaked. What your agents send is your responsibility.
Plans and billing
- Starter: free, 1 agent, no card, no live status.
- Pro 2: $3 a month, up to 2 agents.
- Pro 5: $5 a month, up to 5 agents.
- Pro 15: $10 a month, up to 15 agents.
Every paid plan includes the same thing: unlimited messages and live status on every agent. There is no add-on, no per-message charge and no metered line on your invoice. The price you pick is the price you pay.
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings; you keep what you paid for until the end of the period. Downgrades take effect at period end, and agents over the new cap become read-only instead of being deleted.
Refunds
Email hello@tryagentupdate.com within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it. No form, no reason required.
Acceptable use
Do not use Agent Update to:
- Send messages to anyone other than yourself. Agent Update is not a messaging platform.
- Send unlawful, harassing, or infringing content through the service.
- Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or to work around rate limits or plan caps.
- Resell Agent Update as your own service without a written agreement.
We may suspend an account doing one of these, and we will tell you why.
Availability
Agent Update is provided as-is, without warranty. We do not promise a specific uptime, and we are not liable for a message that arrives late or for a decision made because one did. Do not make Agent Update the only alerting path for anything life-critical.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages.
Your content
Your messages remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, transmit and display them back to you, and, for agents with live status on, to send the excerpt described in the Privacy Policy to a model provider. We do not train models on your data.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your agents, their tokens and their messages. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Agent Update afterwards means you accept the new version. Questions to hello@tryagentupdate.com.
